Kehinde Usman

Ms. Kehinde Usman is an Educator, Director of Shiloh Learning Center in Kansas City Missouri. Her Learning Center environment is a true learning community. Students know exactly what is expected of them, and why, as well as demonstrate a zest for learning.

Usman has travelled extensively, living in many countries as an Ambassador’s wife. She was part of a network association that brought together wives of Ambassadors where she served as the President. As the President of Circle Diplomatic, Usman rehabilitated the lives of many young girls. And she always helped in shaping and creating the academic folios as they were seen and written. She has a keen imagination with a clear streak of history in her writing, which she uses to support her candid opinions and imaginations. An example of this is her participation in a women’s Symposium in New York City which showcased women authors.

Ms. Usman is a remarkable professional and a decent human being who hopes to bring empowerment and change into the lives of women in the urban core.

“A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.” This speaks to nature, spirit and the role of the woman. Our creator has blessed us with this power.  I am committed to aiding women to come to this realization and to understand how important it is for us not to abuse our God given talents nor hold back or be held back. With strong, educated, self-motived, nurturing and dedicated women focused on serving humanity, we can produce better children, stronger families, better neighborhoods, united communities—a better world.

I am human first, then a woman, a sister, a wife, a mother, and now a grandmother. I have taught elementary school, tutored college students, worked for over 15 years as an administrative assistant, served as a mediator, event planner and counselor, provided customer service in corporate, government, and technical support environments, prepared tax returns, and volunteered for many community service activities. However my greatest passion is my family and serving them with all my heart. My greatest pleasure is watching my grandchildren grow into our future leaders.
